‘Marvellous Regiment‘ is the title of our publication written to mark the 100 years of the Act that extended the franchise to women over 30
Today we celebrate with women all over the world the achievements of the women who helped shape further education and skills and to our sisters whose lives have been touched by the work of this vital education sector and who in turn through their participation and guidance helped to shape the sector further and for the better through their determination and their creativity. Many forged new pathways to freedom and independence for themselves and for others then: the work continues today with impatience and importance for better futures.
