What would FE look like if adults who don’t currently engage with lifelong learning had a voice to shape the sector?

The research looked beyond the current challenges FE faces in order to define its unique purpose to the widest possible audience, with the aspiration of increasing adult learner participation over time. In challenging times, creativity is key when working towards new ways of doing things, therefore the research project used a systems thinking approach to balance contextual analysis of current issues with action research involving participants.
