SMF & FETL launch event

SMF & FETL launch event

26th April 2017, 18.30 and 19.30

This event will launch a report from a FETL funded project looking beyond the immediate policy and financial issues in Further Education and Skills to envisage the challenges and opportunities facing the sector over the next 10 years.

This report will identify a number of risks and advantages facing the sector – whether this is in the form of other types of providers (Schools and Higher Education), methods of learning (such as edtech), learner demographics and broad shifts in policy priority.

The Social Market Foundation (SMF) who have led this project have organised a launch event on the 26th April 2017 at the British Academy in London.  Neil Carmichael MP, Member of Parliament for Stroud and Chair of the Education Select Committee is the keynote speaker.  If you would like to attend please register at http://www.smf.co.uk/events/smf-fetl-launch-event/
