Ayub Khan oversees the strategic and operational elements of FETL, building on what has already been achieved to ensure our research, resources and project work have the greatest possible impact on the leadership of thinking in the FE and skills sector
His background includes: chief executive of a multi-academy trust; director of a successful six-borough local authority shared service; and leadership of a successful Connexions partnership in London.
Prior to those roles, he held senior positions within the Learning and Skills Council and the Training and Enterprise Council.
Ayub is experienced in governance and is vice chair of YMCA England, one of the largest and longest-established charities in the UK. He has also served as non-executive director/trustee on other charities, including the Learning and Skills Improvement Service.
